Here are the Lions & Sheep from the Ice Cage 6 event.
Labor profits
Only 20 year olds Rasmus Vauhkonen and Sani Brannfors are among our country’s brightest promises in freestyle. On Friday, both took their second win as professionals. You can call them labor profits. Vauhkonen had to work full minutes Kevin Nieminen with, and Brännfors had the same thing Sofía Landin with.
The minutes were certainly instructive and important for the future. Both Vauhkonen and Brännfors have taken a lot of quick wins in the past. It’s a tough sign when you can dig out a win even on a difficult day.
Both are still at an excellent school – Brännfors in Oulu Matias Pahkala and Vauhkonen in Helsinki Anton Kuivanen under a watchful eye.

A fierce man from Kemi

Jussi Pirttikangas is an excellent example of how lesser-known fighters have become recognized and anticipated fighters with new promotions.
Kemi’s man won again in the cage and received thunderous applause. The neighborhood “Hepola” is tattooed on the stomach, it rings at the entrance Irwin’s Life insurance – the real one People’s champ.
Pirttikangas does it by being himself. In the match, the fists do the talking, but after the match, he gives credit to his opponent and remembers his beloved children with touching words. Now she spent the first Christmas of her life away from her children. After all, there was supposed to be some crying when he jumped on the train in the early morning and headed towards the capital region.
The handsome career of the Thai boxer-freelancer is coming to an end in September of next year in his hometown. I hope the arm lasts until then. After all, it has been through hard times.
– It was cut in October, and it still hasn’t recovered. The tendon of the middle finger was put in place. Nothing has been done yet for the nameless one who crossed over. You have to numb your hand every time you hit, Pirttikangas said.

A rare match

Promoter Max Hynninen proven to be able to come up with interesting match pairs. Besides that, he still implements them. Nora al-Saffu and Eeva Pohto was an excellent example of that.
The match was also very rare, when the recent world champion of kickboxing and the European champion of Thai boxing met each other. Skill, quality and speed were enough.
– Even though I didn’t quite reach my level, we gave a good show. We both have more to give and so do many other women in Finland, al-Saffu said.
– We have been training together, and at first Max thought that we couldn’t fight back then. We talked with Noora and said that of course we can! We both had a tough tournament coming up and we still got this great opportunity at the end of the year, Pohto beamed.
WWE?

Before the start of the main card, a confusing situation was seen when Makwan Amirkhani and “Stagala” ie Alexander Krigsman got together. Amirkhani gave Krigsman a slap on the cheek at the end of the oral sex. Soon Stagala’s plastic crown flew in an arc into the cage. The guards escorted Stagala aside.
The situation mostly evoked sympathy and reminded me of some kind of WWE halftime show where show wrestlers “insult each other’s honor”. Maybe Amirkhani will be seen in the next Ice Cage again in a cage.
“Human terrier” deserves better

Hanna’s “Human Terrier” Housmand has been on the Ice Cage card twice now. In August, a “football hooligan” was put as his opponent in Turku. The opponent hardly even cared about football, but the free-kick skills were also at the elementary level. Housmand showed an eye for the game and tapped out an honorable and very gracious stoppage win without any hard contact.
On Boxing Day, Housmandi had to take Salazar Mokhta against. However, the opponent managed to injure his leg about 10 hours before the weigh-in. How is that even possible? Whatever the reason, taking the almost unknown Mokhta on the card was already a risk when there was no guarantee of level.
Ice Cage has now messed up twice in a row with Housmand’s match. An experienced person from Turku would deserve much better.

Now is the time of “Abba”.

Now, at the latest, it is clear that by Abdul Hussein the place is in the UFC. Getting there should be just a matter of time.
“Abba” Hussein is overall the most skilled fighter in Finland. Even a couple of years ago, they fought in the UFC Tyson Nam got to witness it up close when a precise, short uppercut rocked straight to the jaw. Of his 15 professional victories, Hussein has finished 14 before full time.
At the end of March, the first night of Ice Cage’s competitor Immun Fight Club will be held in Helsinki. However, on the same night, Hussein may make his UFC debut in London.
