The crown princess couple and their children get special treatment when they visit Daniel’s parents.

Crown Princess in Victoria is closely related to his mother-in-law Eva and Olle Westling’s with.
Prince Daniel’s parents and Victoria have known each other for 20 years. The parents-in-law, for their part, have tried to ensure that their sons and daughters-in-law and their families can also enjoy private life as a counterbalance to the royal business.
A small cottage has been arranged for Victoria and Daniel, where they can live with their children Estelle and Oscar when they visit their in-laws’ summer place in Acktjära.
The cabin site is Olle Westling’s birthplace, aka Daniel’s grandmother. The original red house still stands in the courtyard. It’s actually the place where Victoria and Daniel met in secret even before going public with their relationship.
The security guards of the Crown Princess also have their own small cabin on the grounds.
The current home of the Westlings, where Danielk lived as a child, is located in Ockelbo.
