Crowds at camping de Bosrand: alpacas to the hairdresser, scooping poop and playing

And of course animals belong on a farm campsite, there are about a hundred of them walking around on the Bosrand. Think of horses, deer, goats, alpacas, donkeys, ducks, chickens, piglets and rabbits. The alpacas go to the hairdresser, because now that the holiday season has started, the winter coat can be removed. “What a difference, isn’t it”, Huisman laughs.

All those animals must of course be cared for and fortunately Huisman gets help with that. In the horse box is a group of children who shovel wheelbarrows full of poop. After that, the animals must be fed. “That’s nice,” says a hard worker. “But I’m also going to play with my nephew and hang out at the campsite a bit. So it will be a nice holiday anyway.”
