Here we go!

It’s about to start!
At 12.45 p.m. the men start the last stage of this year’s Tour de Ski. The cross-country skiers have to climb the Alpe Cermis. The race starts with a mass start and is completed in free technique. In addition to Moch, the favorites include Pål Goldberg and Sjur Røthe. Røthe has already won the traditional final race twice. In 2019 and last year, the Norwegian was the first to finish the mountain.

Four Swiss struggle up the Alpe Cermis
Four Swiss start today in the last race of the Tour de Ski. The best Confederate is Cyril Fähndrich. He is ranked 30th in the Tour de Ski. The other Swiss are Candide Pralong (34th), Beda Klee (38th) and Roman Furger (45th).

No more Austrians there
After the two Austrians Benjamin Moser and Philipp Leodolter were still at the start in Val Müstair, the ÖSV athletes are saving their strength for the rest of the World Cup and the upcoming World Championships.

Only two Germans left at the start
For health reasons, only two Germans are left for the last race on Alpe Cermis. Friedrich Moch, currently eleventh in the Tour de Ski ranking, still has hopes for the top 10. These hopes are all too justified. Last year, the now 22-year-old clinched his first podium result and finished third. In addition, Jonas Dobler faces the Final Climb.

Can Klæbo manage the seventh win in the seventh race?
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo set a new record with yesterday’s victory in the 15 km classic mass start. The Norwegian thus celebrated his sixth victory in the sixth race in a row at the Tour de Ski. That has never happened in the previous tour history. In the 2016/17 season, Russia’s Sergei Ustyugov managed five wins at the Tour. Can 26-year-old Klæbo still win the final climb on Alpe Cermis today? The Norwegian is currently 1:02 minutes ahead of the Swede Calle Halfvarsson in the Tour de Ski ranking. Paal Golberg is third, 1:14 minutes behind. The best German in the ranking is Friedrich Moch, in eleventh place.
