The overall ranking

With his brilliant performance today, Friedrich Moch was able to work his way forward and achieve second place overall in the overall ranking. This is an outstanding achievement! The German rewards himself for his great tour. As expected, the winner of the tour remains Harald Østberg Amundsen, the Frenchman Hugo Lapalus takes third place overall. The Norwegians Erik Valnes and Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget come away empty-handed.

Mika Vermeulen is the only Austrian who tackles the mountain climb. His goal will be to improve in the overall standings. Before the final stage he was in 14th place, the Frenchman Theo Schely and the Swiss Cyril Fähndrich in the places ahead were within nine seconds.

Is there a podium place for Germany at the Tour de Ski? It would be a big exclamation mark for German cross-country skiing. Friedrich Moch will try everything on Alpe Cermis. The 23-year-old already took a strong eighth place on the last tour, but this year he really came into his own and can now reward himself for his great achievements. Apart from Moch, only Lucas Bögl of the German team takes on the pain of the mountain climb.

The leader of the tour, Harald Østberg Amundsen, goes into the final stage with a lead of 1:34 minutes and can actually only beat himself. Compatriot Erik Valnes is his first pursuer in the overall standings. Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, a Norwegian, is also currently in third place – he is eight seconds behind Valnes.
