The Finnish pier is more powerful than ever.

– If Reetta wants to improve even more, running physics must be developed. He has physical problems. The technical fuss does not take him forward, as the technology is quite adequate.
Iltalehti’s athletics expert Arto Bryggare gave honest feedback after the Tokyo Olympics Reetta Hurskeen activities.
Tampere’s career pedaled. Literally. The draw ended around the middle of the 100-meter straight line.
A week ago, Hurske got a really bad start in the Lahti GP race in the 100-meter fencing. The reaction time was 0.183 seconds. For comparison Annimari Kortteen the quotation was 0.108 seconds.
Last year’s Tampere resident would not have risen from that situation, but this time the forces did not run out, and he pinched the victory of the competition with a top result of 12.92 in the domestic season. At the same time, the Munich European Championship line broke.
The trend has been similar since the reign. The pious endure, and will not soften.
– I’ve pulled a sled.
That’s Hurske’s concise answer to the question of why there is more running power now than ever before.
After last season, he acquired his own gym sled, which has also traveled abroad to training camps.
Weights are placed on the sled and various exercises are performed.
Hurske has been running with his sled throughout the basic training season.
Basic fitness period

In the past, sledding could sometimes be part of a training program, but for the past few months he has been training with it at least once a week.
– My sled weighs six pounds. During the reign, 30-meter bets were made with the sled until the transition to 60-meter. The sled weighs 11 pounds plus of course friction. The benefit has been quite clear, the athlete says.
– The sled feels like a normal workout after the initial challenges. After all, it’s still the case that if it’s not quite the sharpest training day, it’s pretty heavy with it to make bets, he goes on.
Sled training alone does not explain the increased endurance.
– The autumn was a really good basic fitness season for a long time. We ran on the stairs and uphill, among other things. Then there have been more strength training sessions than before. But of course it also seems that there are more training seasons behind.

The record for the athlete at Tampere Pyrinto is 12.78 from 2019. The reaction time for the start in the Joensuu record race was 0.118 seconds. It is good for Hurske, but not perfect.
Throughout her career, she has been arguably Finland’s best starter – a leading woman in the world as well.
– It’s natural. When I bump into it, I have reacted better to it than others. Of course, it’s also about how to move from the racks to the first fence: I’m just thinking I’m leaving full, and some are thinking of being pushed off the racks.
What happened at the departure of Lahti?
– Sleepy activity and nervous fatigue. I don’t care. Yes, that output comes from there when you get a little sensitive. That race had not been sensitized at all, Hurske replies.
As long as the start is in the miter and the weather is right, there is a very good chance to set a new record in the coming weeks. Even Kortteen SE 12.72 is as far as possible.
– The time in the bay will automatically allow 12.80 submission if the conditions are extremely good. There is probably no such thing in Finland, Bryggare comments.
Home race
Hurske, who is investing in foreign competitions this summer, would have liked to have competed in Ostrava’s high-quality event on Tuesday, but he was ranked in the racing organizers ’papers nine weeks before the event. There was room for eight women.
– The boss of Pyrinto Elisa Hakanen likes when I race at the Tampere GP on Wednesday, Hurske laughs.
Ratina’s windy stadium offers a temperature of about 15 degrees. It’s not a record.
– The goal is to run less than 13 seconds and stay intact.
