criticism of dr. Moth because of lateral thinker symbolism: partners distance themselves

dr Motte recently made a name for itself with the “Rave the Planet” demonstration – and not only in a positive sense. A video has been making the rounds on social media since the weekend, in which the DJ can also be seen on his car. He holds the “Freedom Parade” logo in both hands and bows in homage while holding it out to the crowd behind the float. The initiative “My Basic Income” has now clearly distanced itself.

A raffle was actually planned, in which the former Loveparade founder was supposed to be there to determine the winners of an annual basic income. He has now been unloaded again. “We would like to distance ourselves as clearly as possible from this process and the background to it. We have never condemned or tolerated any anti-Semitic, racist, homophobic or transphobic or otherwise discriminatory or conspiracy-believing statements of any kind. This also applies to the views of the lateral thinkers of the so-called “Freedom Parade”, which is closely connected to right-wing extremist circles.

One is now in exchange about the events and their effects. The initiative does not intend to offer a platform for lateral thinking discussions. “There will be a replacement raffle for the canceled raffle next week, Wednesday, July 20,” said an e-mail to the participants. “It is our fault not to have researched the environment in which Dr. Motte with his initiative ‘Rave the Planet’ and that he was sentenced in the past for right-wing extremist statements – we apologize for that.”

“I hereby distance myself from lateral thinkers and similar organizations. Never again fascism. May all people and animals be happy.” With these words, Dr. Motte commented on the discussions about his person. Below that, however, is analyzed how sincere this tweet is. Users point out with a photo that people with lateral thinker experience are said to have walked behind the opening car.
