In fact, Ronaldo has four children: Cristiano Jr, born in 2010, Eva and Mateo, twins born in June 2017 from a surrogate mother, and Alana Martina, who opened her eyes in November 2017. Little Bella Esmeralda has now joined them, but not Angel, born without life.

Joy and pain at the same time

The champion spoke of a particular period, made of joy for the baby’s arrival in the family, and at the same time of deep pain for the loss of the little one. “When you have a baby you expect everything to be normal, to be fine,” he said. Then instead the most difficult news to accept. The couple did everything to be strong for the newborn baby. But grieving was not easy. Only a week after Angel’s death, he and Georgina were able to tell their other children the truth: their little brother is in Heaven. And now the children, looking at the sky, imagine that they are doing things by dedicating them to him. A way to allow the little one to still be part of their family.

The ashes in the house

Ronaldo also revealed that the baby’s ashes are in the house. “I have a chapel downstairs,” she explained. And that’s where Angel rests together with his grandfather, Cristiano Ronaldo’s father, who died of liver failure in 2005. «I talk to them every day and I know they stand by me“, he added. «They help me to be a better man, to be a better person, to be a better father. And that’s something I’m really proud of.”
