A Portuguese TV channel has speculated on Instagram about a move from Cristiano Ronaldo to Sporting. He himself countered the rumor.
The Portuguese television station Sport TV has now linked Ronaldo to his ex-club Sporting Lisbon on Instagram. The medium wrote: “A photo is circulating on social media that allegedly shows the Portuguese’s car in the garage of the Estadio José Alvalade.” The Estadio José Alvalade is Sporting’s stadium.
But “CR7” himself wrote from his account under the post: “Fake” (In German: wrong). Apparently there is no return. The followers of the offensive star were amused, they posted rows of smileys under the post.
Ronaldo played for Sporting Lisbon in his youth, went through all teams from the U15 to the professionals before moving to Manchester United in 2003. He only returned to the Premier League last year after 18 years.
