PSV general manager Marcel Brands spoke extensively about the crisis situation at the Eindhoven club during an inserted press conference on Saturday morning with several media. On Friday he said goodbye to his technical director John de Jong, who no longer enjoyed the confidence of the supervisory board. “I would have left myself if I had been John, I’m honest about that,” says Brands, who was visibly affected.
