All the inspectors of “Crimes in Paradise”
No inspector of Crimes in paradiseHowever, he would be able to unmask the culprits without the help of his team. He did not, in the past, Inspector Richard Poole (played by Ben Miller), the first to arrive on the Island to investigate the murder of the previous inspector and then permanently transferred to Sainte-Marie. He also made use of the team Inspector Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall), who landed on the island at the beginning of the third season to track down the killers of Poole, who was also killed. The farewell of his wife, who leaves him while he is in Sainte-Marie, convinces him to stay in the Caribbean sun. He stays until the middle of the sixth season when he returns to England to follow the woman who, met on the island where he was on vacation, steals his heart. The third inspector, Jack Mooney (Ardal O’Hanlon), widower with a daughter, investigates until the middle of the ninth season when Neville Parker arrives.
Inspector Parker’s team and the other characters
The team members have also changed over the years. In the eleventh season of Crimes in paradise there is a new entrance. We will get acquainted with Naomi Thomas, new police sergeant of Sainte-Marie who has the face of Shantol Jackson. The woman will soon win everyone’s trust thanks to her skill. Especially that of Marlon Pryce (Tahj Miles) with whom he develops a great understanding. At the head of the team, the commissioner remains Selwyn Patterson, played by Don Warrington since the first season. Already seen in the seventh season, it returns Darlene Curtis, a nurse and ex-girlfriend of agent Dwayne Myers, left the scene after retirement. And finally, to complicate the life of Inspector Neville Parker comes his sister Izzy (Kate O’Flynn), with whom he has no bad blood. Not missing Mayor Catherine Bordey (Élizabeth Bourgine) who continues to run his beach kiosk.
“Crimes in Paradise”: the plot of the first episode
Gabriel Taylor, an apparently very religious man, is stabbed in a telephone booth in the middle of nowhere. He was there to confirm the release of the daughter who had been kidnapped and for whose release he had paid a ransom. Inspector Neville Parker must understand why the man was killed and who was the perpetrator of the murder. He finds himself dealing with a very special family with a former drug addict mother who has been in prison, a daughter engaged to a boy who is disliked by her parents. To complicate matters, a man from the past who spent 10 years in prison because of Taylor’s own fault.
