The alleged murderer met Cristina Cabo Buján in a nightlife venue the same morning that he killed her
The man arrested for the crime of Cristina Cabo Buján has confessed to being the author of the murder that took place at the victim’s home, on Rúa Quiroga, in Lugo.
The body of the 42-year-old woman was found on Sunday, with multiple stab wounds, in the bedroom of the house. She was found by her sister, who went to her house after taking the family for several hours without knowing anything about Cristina Cabo.
Sources consulted by Europa Press have confirmed that the man – who he met the victim at a nightlife venue that same morning– he confessed during a statement made late this Wednesday.
After taking more than twenty statements, the National Police arrested the main suspect on Tuesday, a 32-year-old man of Colombian nationality who had been residing in the city for just two months.

After the progress of the proceedings and the taking of a statement, the detainee will have to go to court.
