The commandos of the Indian warship INS Chennai boarded the cargo ship today and were able to bring the 21 crew members, including fifteen Indians, to safety.
The intervention came after India announced last month that it would deploy troops to the Arabian Sea to protect trading ships, which have been increasingly attacked since the start of the Gaza war.
