Crew members announce 12 more days of strikes in July

The crew of Ryanair have announced new days of strike during the month of Julythus intensifying their protests against the low-cost airline. USE Y Sitcpla strikes have been recorded on July 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in the ten Spanish airports in which it operates. The labor conflict intensifies and the announcement of the plants comes during a new day of strikes, in which Ryanair has been forced to cancel 10 flights and has registered delays in other 123according to data updated at 1:00 p.m. by the convening unions.

Between the flights canceled for this saturday by Ryanair are found routes to Ibiza, Malaga and Santiago de Compostela, as well as Aberdeen (Scotland), Berlin (Germany), London (UK), Marseille (France) and Glasgow (Scotland). At least five of the canceled flights departed from Spain.

The unions claim before the Ministry of Labor that “do not allow Ryanair to break labor laws” and “act with a company that does not abide by court rulingsdoes not comply with the law and uses fear, coercion and threats against its employees,” state the organizers of the strike in a statement published this Saturday.

The airline Easyjet, for its part, also begins its first day of strike for this month of July. On the first day of protest already five flights have been canceled Y 52 more have suffered delays. Minimum services

The Ministry of Transport informed Ryanair, Aena, Enaire and the convening unions that during these days of strike the minimum services had to be between 36% and up to 82%depending on the airport of origin and whether the flight was mainland, non-mainland or international, and depending on the distance and the transport alternative. The unions, for their part, have defined these figures as “totally abusive” as “violate the right to strike“.
