Flemish Minister of Welfare Hilde Crevits (CD&V) has lashed out at N-VA chairman Bart De Wever in an interview with ‘De Zondag’. She does not think it is possible that he wants to link the formation of the Flemish government after the elections to the federal one. “I really don’t understand him and I let him know that personally,” she says. “And then those threats (that CD&V and Open Vld have to go ‘under’, ed.). You can feel everything that he is going to play Calimero again. That is typical of De Wever.”
