Actor of the popular series General Hospital Sonya Eddy died on Monday of last week aged 55. Eddy died from complications caused by a post-surgery infection.
Despite the death, Eddy’s Twitter account has remained confusingly active even after the actor’s passing. The daily horoscopes of the twins have been published for a long time on the account in Eddy’s name, marked as official, and the horoscope tweets have continued daily even after Eddy died on December 19.
The horoscope tweets have caused a lot of confusion on Twitter and Eddy’s fans have openly wondered who manages the account and gets to publish the tweets.
However, there is a rational explanation for social media updates from beyond the grave. The Twittascope horoscope app is connected to Eddy’s Twitter account, which automatically publishes the twins’ predictions every day.
Some of the tweets look quite strange and creepy after death.
– You have been handed a double-edged sword today, a twin, the tweet dated December 23 reads.
– This day can reveal an unexpected reward, says a tweet published on Eddy’s account on December 22.
On the day of Eddy’s death, the horoscope app offered the following sentence on Twitter:
– Your current life may be anything but frivolous.
Twittascope’s representatives communicated the tweets to the reporter TMZ, that they can’t do anything to stop the tweets for now. According to Twittascope, the automatic updates will only stop if someone logs into Eddy’s account and disconnects from Twittascope.
Eddy’s death was made public by, among others, Eddy’s actor colleague and friend by Octavia Spencer With the Instagram update. Spencer confirmed the actor’s passing in her update.
– The world lost yet another creative angel. He will be missed by his legions of General Hospital fans, Oscar winner Spencer wrote in her update.
