Creedence Clearwater Revival Show Unreleased “Proud Mary” Performance

Creedence Clearwater Revival today (September 2) release exclusive footage from their show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where they performed their 1970 hit ‘Proud Mary’. They also announced their new album, Creedence Clearwater Revival At The Royal Albert Hall, out September 16th.

The video shows the band performing their original version of the swamp rock classic live. The track was written by the band’s founder, John Fogerty, and later covered by Ike & Tina Turner. The clip features the full-length Creedence Clearwater Revival performance and also includes renditions of hits like the anti-Vietnam War anthem “Fortunate Son” and “Bad Moon Rising.”

Description of the remastered Creedence Clearwater Revival At The Royal Albert Hall reads: “After being stored for approximately 50 years, the original multitrack tapes have been carefully restored and edited by the Grammy-winning team at producer Giles Martin and sound engineer Sam Okell mixed.

The album will be available on CD, cassette and 180g vinyl, as well as digitally. On November 14th, the pre-sale for the “Super Deluxe Edition” box set starts.
