The financially troubled FC Barcelona has made another million transfer perfect.
The French international Jules Koundé joins the Catalans from Sevilla FC, according to unanimous reports, the transfer fee should be 50 million euros plus 10 million in bonus payments.
Barca sealed the deal on Friday and also announced a fixed transfer fee of one billion euros.
The 23-year-old Koundé has signed a five-year contract and the central defender will be officially unveiled on Monday. Barcelona had previously signed Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich, among others.
Chelsea, with team manager Thomas Tuchel, had recently been trying very hard to get Koundé, who is still recovering from a groin operation last month.
