Storyline: “The Song of the Crayfish”
Kya (Daisy Edgar-Jones) grew up in the harsh swamplands of North Carolina after her family abandoned her at the age of six. For years after that, rumors circulated about Kyra, who was referred to as the “march girl” within her community.
When Kyra is attracted to two young men from the city, she opens up and discovers a new and exciting world. But this positive development ends when Chase Andrews (Harris Dickinson) dies. Kya quickly becomes the focus of the investigation.
The film is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by the author Delia Owens, which was first published in German in 2019.
