To start their careers, job starters need to get a good education. “The path to a job is not a sure-fire success, you have to take care of it in good time,” says Wolfgang Steinherr (63), one of the three regional heads of the Berlin employment agencies.
As Managing Director Mitte he is responsible for the Mitte, Lichtenberg, Hellersdorf-Marzahn and Kreuzberg-Friedrichshain districts.
Many great apprenticeship positions are currently unfilled. The lawyer: “It still applies today that craftsmanship really has golden ground.
We give young people the chance to try things out and to see their opportunities.” This is achieved, for example, by an internship directly in the company, but also by careers advice. “The first step is always a good and well-founded education,” says Steinherr.
