There were several knife attacks in Berlin on Friday evening and Saturday night.
► Around 10 p.m. there was a dispute among young people at Arnimplatz in a park on Seelower Straße. According to their statement, it was about a device for rolling cigarettes.
The argument got so bad that one young man severely cut the neck of another. A fire engine from the fire brigade, which was on its way to do residual extinguishing work on Paul-Robeson-Strasse, was stopped by police officers. They immediately initiated the first care measures and squeezed the heavily bleeding wound.
An ambulance and paramedics transported the seriously injured man to a hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. The perpetrator was arrested on the spot.
► Around 12:45 a.m. there were disputes in a ground floor apartment on Archenholdstrasse in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde. According to initial findings, a man (35) is said to have stabbed his partner (34). Then he is said to have left the apartment – to get a beer! He was arrested shortly thereafter.
► Around 1.40 a.m. there were disputes on Wittenberger Straße in the “Zu den Eichen” shopping center. Apparently there was a celebration in a locality and the two men got into an argument, with the later victim suffering cuts.
The man was transported to a hospital. Luckily, the injuries are only superficial.
