“Women miss out on up to 300,000 euros in salary in their careers compared to male colleagues,” the PvdA in Tynaarlo announced tonight. That is why the faction instructs the municipality to check within its own organization whether there is a pay gap.
“We think it would be good to measure whether women and men are paid unequally,” said Koos Dijkstra on behalf of the PvdA when submitting the proposal. It is not surprising that this was submitted this evening. March 8 coincides with International Women’s Day.

Reason for the socialists to ask the municipality of Tynaarlo to conduct an investigation within its own organization. The municipality must provide an answer before 1 August.
All political groups were in agreement with the PvdA’s proposal. What should be done with the results of the investigation is, as far as Dijkstra is concerned, a question for the next city council.
