The Federal Council of Ministers discussed the capital gains tax for the first time, but the design has not yet been beaten. The cabinet of Finance Minister Jan Jambon (N-VA) announced this. A number of “technical points” still stand in the way of approval in the first reading, but they should have been “soon” cleared.
