Just like the festival, the eleven names proposed by Couleur Café are rich in variety. Caballero and Jean Jass may represent the Belgian hip-hop scene, but real world artists also come to the festival. Just think of the Senegalese atmosphere maker Youssou N’Dour, but also the American soul master Lee Fields, the Cape Verdean Elida Almeida, the South African BCUC and the Argentinian Nathy Peluso.
There are also some novelties at Couleur Café this year. The so-called Black Stage was not only improved, but also redesigned. Names such as Carl Craig, Gilles Peterson, Romare and Philou Louzolo can certainly take place on this podium.
Couleur Café will take place this year from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2022. Tickets are available via the website www.couleurcafe.be† If you already had a ticket for Couleur Café in 2020 or 2021, you can keep the ticket or exchange it for a voucher that will remain valid until 2023. Half of the combi tickets are sold out. Four fifths of the camping tickets have already been sold.
