The first edition of the snow challenge on the famous Olympia delle Tofane to raise funds for the Theodora Foundation is a success
Olympia delle Tofane also has a heart of gold, ask Kristian Ghedina. It is also thanks to the former Italian downhill skier that this morning, on the Olympic and World Cup track, the first edition of the Cortina Charity Challenge took place, a challenge on the snow organized by the Friends for Others association with the aim of raising funds for Theodora Foundation which, since 1995, has offered moments of play, listening and escape to children hospitalized. More than 100 skiers involved – including the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè, the actress Claudia Gerini, the former footballer Demetrio Albertini and “Ghedo” himself – for a morning full of fun.
DREAMS
—
Also present were Dr. MaDai and Dr. PerPiacere, two of the Sogni doctors active in the area. These are professional artists, hired and specifically trained by the Theodora Foundation, to work in synergy with hospital staff, as part of an integrated care process for the young patient. The Foundation itself has already committed to translating the proceeds into special visits by its Dream Doctors to children in the highly complex pediatric departments of the Italian hospitals in which the Foundation is active. Tomorrow evening the charity dinner is expected, by invitation, at 8pm at the el Camineto restaurant.
