The Telstar captain is therefore conscious of guilt. “As captain you have an important role in the group. You try to keep the group together and we have to become a unit. We have to work on that,” said Apau.
Peter Hofstede also believes that not only the trainer is responsible. “You also have to take matters into your own hands. It can’t just be the trainer’s fault. Something had to change. And the playing group will also have to come up with solutions.”
