In Puglia 4 deaths and 673 new cases, 2.2% of the tests
Of the 29,928 tests performed in Puglia, 673 new cases of positivity were found today with a rate of 2.2% (yesterday 2.8%). Four dead. There are 7,723 people currently positive, 167 those hospitalized in a non-critical area, 21 in intensive care. This is the breakdown of positive cases: in the province of Bari 129, in the Bat 90, 57 in the province of Brindisi, 85 in the province of Foggia, 199 in the Lecce area, 99 in the province of Taranto; there are 13 residents outside the region, one in the province being defined.
4,716 new cases in Veneto 1341 hospitalizations, 14 deaths
There are 4,716 new cases of Covid in Veneto recorded up to this morning while the number of the current positive 62,774 against 61,404 yesterday. Hospitalizations are also growing, 1.341 today against 1.286 yesterday due to an increase in both cases in the non-critical area (1.167 against 1.119 yesterday) and in intensive care (174 against 167 24 hours ago). Deaths are on the rise, 14 today against three yesterday.
New positive leap in Umbria, but it is a buffer record
The Covid-19 positive curve in Umbria recorded a significant leap forward, in the face of a high number for the regional test standards analyzed. Ordinary hospitalizations are also growing, still limited but constant. This is the trend of the pandemic in Umbria, based on the daily data released by the region. In the past 24 hours, 498 new positives have been detected. We must even go back to November 19, 2020 to find a higher daily number of cases, there were 556 on that date. A total of 18,291 tests were analyzed yesterday, a rather high number compared to the usual trends. The positivity rate stands at 2.72 percent. Compared to 96 healed, the curve of currently positives therefore grows by 401 units, reaching 4,130. On the hospitalization front, ordinary hospitalizations also continue to rise, which are now 65, three more than the previous day. Of these, nine are in intensive care, a figure unchanged from yesterday. A new death has to be recorded, which brings the total number of victims in Umbria since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,499.
Marche: 689 infections in 24 hours, incidence towards 300
The incidence of Coronavirus positivity cases per 100 thousand inhabitants in the Marche region travels rapidly towards 300: in the last day it went from 284.99 to 296.38. According to data from the Regional Epidemiological Observatory, it is still the province of Ancona that records the highest number of cases (220), followed by Fermo (116), Macerata (165), Pesaro Urbino (94), Ascoli Piceno (65) ; 25 the infections of people from outside the region. In the Marche region, two other cases of Omicron variant were confirmed yesterday (one in Loreto in the province of Ancona, and the other in the province of Ascoli) after a first case of variant identified in Rome in a girl from Tolentino returning with a flight from South Africa. Over 10 thousand swabs performed in 24 hours (10,131 of which 6,196 in the diagnostic course and 3,935 in the course cured, with 11.1% positive). To these are added 3,690 antigen tests (504).
Basilicata, 169 infections and zero deaths
In Basilicata there are 169 new cases of contagion from Sars Cov-2 (163 concern residents), out of a total of 1,988 molecular swabs, and there are no deaths from Covid-19. These are the data from the regional bulletin of the coronavirus task force referring to the last 24 hours. There are 57 recovered or negativized Lucanians. Hospitalizations for Covid-19 are on the rise, the number has risen to 38 (+6) of which none in intensive care: 17 in the Potenza hospital and 21 in the Matera one. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are 1,997 (+106).
