Fewer employees switched to another employer during the corona crisis. In the hospitality industry, which was hit hard by lockdowns, this group actually grew. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports this on the basis of new figures. Of the eight million employees who were there at the end of January 2020, 12.9 percent had a job with another employer a year later. In 2019, this turnover was slightly higher at 15.1 percent. During the corona time, relatively more people stopped working.
