Cornald Maas is completely over his head because of a teasing tweet from Volkskrant star Sheila Sitalsing. He doesn’t like her witty comments. “What’s your problem?!” he yells.
It is not known what is in the water in Turin, but both Songfestival commentator Cornald Maas and his buddy Jan Smit are breeding themselves terribly. First Cornald. He comes across as very grumpy when Volkskrant star columnist Sheila Sitalsing posts a tweet about him.
Cornald angry
Sheila can’t take Cornald all that seriously anymore. “God, Cornald Maas is on TV and now I have to think about the time we called him ‘song festival expert’ or something like that in a piece and he wrote an insulted letter to the newspaper, remember?” she tweeted to a colleague Kim Van Keken.
Cornald is really annoyed by that comment. “No. No letter. Please factually correct. What is your problem exactly?”, he sneezes, spread over two tweets.
Sheila moments later: “No insurmountable problems, I remember that we thought it was super funny and touchy.”
Jan furious
And what is wrong with Jan? He’s been twittering very angry all morning. One Michelangelo remarks that he thinks Jan and Cornald’s comments on San Marino’s act are unjustified. “Achille Lauro has scored more hits than both guys in their entire careers combined!”
You can hardly imagine that a celebrity with Jan’s track record is still concerned about such a random viewer’s tweet, but he’s all over the place. “I was already number 1 when this boy was still wearing a diaper!”, he shouts, among other things. “You’re talking out of your ass.”
‘Who bounces the ball’
Jan is completely upset. “I just have to think it’s normal for people to attack or insult me without substantiation. Whoever bounces the ball…”, he writes. He also tweets the meaning of the swear word ‘sujet’ and points out that it makes no sense if Michelangelo deletes his tweet. “I kept them.”
Pooh pooh, if Jan is already mad about this, Yvonne Coldeweijer can only hope he’s not in her paid Telegram chat. She spreads pretty spicy gossip about the Volendam singer.
