Coperni partners with Hurr

Parisian luxury label Coperni is partnering with circular fashion marketplace Hurr.

The brand, which has become known for its viral runway moments and numerous celebrity followers, will now offer a curated selection of pieces from its current Spring/Summer 2023 collection on the fashion marketplace, Hurr announced on Friday.

In addition, items from the Coperni archive are also available for hire, notably the popular ‘Swipe’ bag, which is often seen on the brand’s catwalk.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Victoria Pew, Hurr has grown into an established tech-first platform with a goal of becoming “the Airbnb of fashion,” as the founder told Forbes magazine in 2019.

Hurr initially started as a peer-to-peer platform and in 2021 launched a white-label service that allowed retailers to participate in its rental offering. The site has since struck up a number of high-profile partnerships, from department stores like Selfridges and John Lewis to luxury brands like Mulberry.

The company’s expansion was further fueled by a $5.4 million funding round late that same year, which was used to expand the business and develop the company’s proprietary technology.
