Convoy with 8 potato harvesters to Denmark

The family business has expanded enormously in recent years and now has customers in more than 50 countries.

The potato harvesters weigh 11 tons each. Cost per piece: up to 250,000 euros. The convoy travels via the Netherlands to Denmark. A feat with accompanying width permits, guidance and a lot of transport agreements made. If all goes well, the trucks will arrive on Wednesday.

A transport like this shows the enormous expansion of the family business. Tom Lootens, AVR: “When I started here about 15 years ago, we worked with about 40 people. Today we work here in Roeselare with about 225 people. Turnover has also multiplied by five or by six. And we keep rising. The aim is to keep growing.”
