The court states that Robert Sylvester Kelly, as the singer is called in full, has been placed under permanent surveillance to prevent suicide after a psychological examination. “Following a clinical investigation, it was decided this morning that Robert Sylvester Kelly, aka R. Kelly, will no longer be under permanent suicide control from this morning,” the court said.

The 55-year-old singer was found guilty last year of, among other things, leading an organization that aimed to abuse women and girls. Last week, his sentence in this case was set at 30 years cell. The musician is also yet to appear in similar charges in the states of Illinois and Minnesota.
