An image of a naked mother with two children may remain in the courtyard of the Martini Hospital in Groningen. The hospital had asked sculptor Albert Aukema to remove his statue after passers-by took offense at the naked woman. From behind, according to some viewers, it would look like “an adult pressing two children against the crotch,” the hospital writes.
