Controversial collection for officer who shot Nahel dead last night offline, family boy files complaint

The relatives of Nahel (17) who died in a traffic control in France have filed a complaint against Jean Messiha and his fundraising campaign for the officer who shot the boy. The action, which has already raised more than 1.5 million euros, divides the country to the bone. Messiha, the ex-spokesman of the far-right presidential candidate Eric Zemmour, has in turn announced that the collection will be taken offline around midnight.
