It’s always the same buzzwords that left-wing politicians use to throw a spanner in the works at the authorities. The operations are said to be racist, stigmatizing and a pure demonstration of power. A comment from BZ editor Hildburg Bruns.

The left in particular has inhaled such allegations and spread them loudly. A city councilwoman even blocks her employees at work for this reason.

The Neukölln regulatory office is no longer allowed to do its job and control its part in conjunction with other offices, such as non-smoker protection, alcohol regulations, food or hygiene in kitchens.

But it is precisely this strategy of pinpricks that provides insights into seedy cafes, shisha bars and barber shops. And now? No joint missions, no overall picture.

Apart from the fact that the employees of the public order office are no longer protected by weapon carriers in problematic situations.

This is how you put inspectors on the sidelines. And the clans say: Thank you, dear councillor!
