French national soccer player Paul Pogba returns to Italian record champions Juventus Turin in Serie A.
“We couldn’t be happier: Pogba is back with us,” wrote the club from northern Italy. The 29-year-old has signed a four-year contract until June 30, 2026.
Pogba previously played for Manchester United in the English Premier League. His contract expired there at the end of the season, which is why he returned to the Bianconeri free of charge.
Four championships with Juventus
Pogba played at Juve from 2012 and 2016 before moving to Manchester. The 2018 world champion won four championships and two cups with the Italians.
The change did not come as a surprise. The media had been speculating about the midfielder’s return for weeks. On Friday he landed in northern Italy on a private plane. “I’m back and very happy to be here,” Pogba said in a club video. “I can’t wait to get going and wear the Juve shirt again.”
