Starting at the age of fifteen, not having a weekend off and then realizing that you are now 50 and want something different. René Contini is relieved now that his decision is out in the open. His restaurant on the Verlengde Hereweg in Groningen will close on 1 March. It reopens soon afterwards, but driven by two German men and under a new name. Contini sold his company, but not his company name.
