Conte criticizes his club’s transfer policy

Team manager Antonio Conte has sharply criticized the English first division football club Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer policy in the recent past.

“Big mistakes” were made. The club cannot afford to repeat this.

During the winter break, the former Champions League finalist lent four players and sold one. “It’s strange. It means something went wrong in the past,” said Conte, who took over from seventh in the Premier League in November.

A successful future depends on future transfers. “That will be fundamental,” said the Italian.

“We know very well that there are many teams ahead of us. We need time and patience to work hard to catch them. We mustn’t make any big mistakes, especially on the transfer market.”
