A container complete with trailer blew off a truck on the A73 between Boxmeer and Nijmegen. There is now a long traffic jam behind it. The right lane is closed.
The delay has now increased to about 45 minutes. Recovery crews are busy recovering the container that blew off the truck trailer. According to Rijkswaterstaat, the salvage work will last until approximately half past ten.
It was also busy on the A50 at the Ekkerswijer junction on Wednesday morning due to an accident. There is an extra thirty minutes of travel time there due to an accident. There is a traffic jam of about seven kilometers. Rijkswaterstaat expects that the road can be opened around half past eight.
