On June 23, 2022, the Ministry of Finance published the 2021 annual report of the Constituency Program of the Ministry of Finance.
The Constituency Program is a program for technical cooperation with the so-called constituency countries. These are countries that the Netherlands represents on the boards of the IMF, the World Bank and the EBRD, such as Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania. With this programme, the Netherlands wants to contribute to important public finance reforms in these countries.
In 2021, the constituency program was able to offer a full program. There were trainings and webinars on taxes, digital budget, financial management, green bonds and state participations. In addition to employees of the ministry, partners such as Statistics Netherlands, the Court of Audit, the OECD and the Center of Excellence in Finance in Slovenia contributed to this.
