Conor McGregor’s successful freestyle career seems to be coming to an end. PDO

Irish freestyle superstar Conor McGregor34, is not returning to the cage for a long time.

Confirms the matter of the MMA Junkie website news from the weekend. UFC boss Dana White confirmed on Saturday that McGregor is not currently in the testing program of USADA, the US anti-doping agency.

The topic surfaced a few weeks ago when ESPN noticed that McGregor has not been tested once this year.

Although McGregor has not been seen in a UFC cage for over a year, he should still be part of the testing program if he is still under contract with the UFC. The lack of testing suggests that McGregor has retired, at least for the time being. Retired competitors leave the USADA testing program.

White said that if McGregor wanted to return to the UFC cage, he should first go back to the USADA testing program for six months. However, the UFC boss did not say the reason for McGregor’s departure from the program.

Usada’s open test database reveals that McGregor was tested 11 times last year.

A violent plunge

In July of last year, McGregor lost for the second time For Dustin Poirier and had to go on long sick leave when he broke his leg. McGregor has shared videos of his rehabilitation and training on his social media, but there is no concrete information about his return.

McGregor is the highest-paid freestyle fighter in history and a former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion. However, his career took a sharp plunge when he lost Habib Nurmagomedov in the fall of 2018. Since then, he has fought only three times.
