Connie Witteman makes mincemeat of fellow polder diva Patricia Paay, because she made a mean comment about a possible TV collaboration. “She’s really whining right now.”
It has been suggested for years that polder divas Connie Witteman, Patty Brard and Patricia Paay should make a program together. It partly came about in 2011: Patty and Patricia made the RTL 4 show Diva’s Draaien Door together with Tatjana Šimić. But Connie? He didn’t participate.
Little Patricia
Connie and Patricia were both present last month at the opening of some interior design store in Amsterdam and one asked Show newsreporter them if they don’t feel like a TV collaboration. “Hey dear Connie, I just saw Patricia Paay walk in as well. Have you seen her yet?”

Together in a show?
Then the reporter suggests putting Connie and Patricia together for a TV show. Connie: “It’s a nice idea, because you’re coming up with it now.”
Patricia: “No, I would never do that. No, I don’t like that at all. Shut up, leave me alone.”
Wouldn’t that be gold television? Patricia: “No, no, no. No, people are not waiting for that at all.”
Connie on the other side of the store to the same question: “Sure, glamor at its best. Patty has a nice mouth and Patricia… I can learn something from them!”
Terrible sailor
