Vooruit chairman Conner Rousseau today visited the Child Abuse Trust Center in Bruges. For two hours he talked to the employees about their operation and needs. The demand for more support sounds loud.
“Around twenty people work together in Bruges and Kortrijk,” says Joke Castelein of the Trust Center. “But there are actually too few. We notice an increase in the number of reports and in the complexity of the files, while our staffing remains the same.”
