Connected Retail by Zalando goes on a European tour

Connected Retail, Zalando’s digital solution for brick-and-mortar retail to serve customers via the Zalando platform, is touring some of Europe’s largest metropolises this summer.

Now that events and trade shows are back in full swing, Connected Retail has teamed up with Volkswagen and transformed two VW New Multivans into mobile showrooms to connect face-to-face with shop owners and industry experts across Europe.

The interactive road showwhich launches in Switzerland and Italy in June, will visit ten markets and more than 15 cities, including Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin, to showcase how Connected Retail is a link between the physical and the digital right at the store door can create world.

Inside Connected Retail’s Volkswagen New Multivan, shopkeepers selling fashion, shoes, accessories and sportswear are given an interactive experience of how the combination of physical environment and digital technology can offer new growth opportunities.

With almost 7,000 active stores selling via Connected Retail, the roadshow brings the benefits of digitization to brick-and-mortar retail. The Connected Retail team shows how shop owners can connect their stores to the Zalando platform and grow their business by reaching new target groups.

The variety of the New Multivan from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is perfect for presenting the entire Connected Retail range and for conducting personal discussions directly at the shops. In addition, the Connected Retail team will be present with the New Multivan from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles at the most important business-to-business (B2B) fashion fairs across Europe, including Premium in Berlin, Who’s Next in Paris and Modefabriek in Amsterdam.
