Last week, during a mission to the Congolese capital Kinshasa, Brussels Prime Minister Rudi Vervoort noted that there is a “real expectation” among the political rulers in Congo to renew ties with Belgium. Vervoort led the Brussels mission. In the wake of the Prime Minister, dozens of Belgian companies also traveled to find partners on the spot.
