The humanitarian needs for some 10 million Congolese amount to 2.25 billion dollars this year. The United Nations Humanitarian Office, Ocha, and the Congolese government announced this on Wednesday. That amount should benefit the “critical needs” of people “affected by conflict, epidemics and natural disasters”, especially in the east of the country.
