Readers about addressing companies with ‘you and you’: ‘I didn’t play with you, did I!’
Companies and institutions that tutor their customers in letters or e-mails: it is becoming more and more common. A travesty, says Dirk Westerhof from Apeldoorn, who found such a letter from VGZ on his 92-year-old mother’s mat. The health insurer itself says that it ‘wants to stand next to the customer’, but the majority of readers who responded have a different view: ‘They are not my friends’.
