The police had to pull a woman off the highway on the A59 near Waspik when she wanted to cross it. She became so aggressive that officers eventually had to use their taser. Earlier, the woman would have damaged four cars with a knife.
The woman showed confused behavior, the police said on Twitter. Officers intervened when she tried to cross the highway. She resisted so fiercely that the use of the taser was necessary to get her under control.
The woman is receiving medical care, for the impact of the taser. She also receives psychological help. She has been arrested for the vandalism of the cars.
