Confirmed workplace mask: mandatory until June 30th

Lmask it will continue to be mandatory in the office until 30 June and not until 15 as assumed at first. Government and trade unions have mutually agreed to leave the safety device in the workplace still for a while’. Indeed, it was the workers’ associations that wanted to proceed with the utmost caution.

The mask it must be worn by workers who share the spaces, in offices, in shops or assembly lines, or that come into contact with the public as in a supermarket. And they will continue to be provided by employers as “dpi” (personal protective equipment).

The decision will be formalized shortly. Before the end of June however, a new summit is expected which will assess the situation according to the evolution of the pandemic and always possible relapses in the coming autumn.

Federfarma calls for caution

Call for caution also from Federfarmawhich suggests to warn again, with signs posted on the windows, that they remain “Protocols relating to Covid vaccinations and rapid tests are in force“. And that among the various safety measures to be strictly adopted “the use of masks is also contemplated”.

And, again that “the obligation to comply with the provisions for physical distancing remains. Wear the mask to be lowered only when taking the biological sample. Sanitize your hands and have your body temperature checked immediately before the test ».

The rules from May 1st

The rules on masks have changed since the beginning of the month. The obligation to wear them is over, in general, but some exceptions remain.

Until June 15, they will still be mandatory on local and long-distance public transport, in cinemas, theaters, entertainment and live music venues and for all indoor sports events and competitions.

Obligation also for workers, users and visitors of health, social health and social welfare facilities, including RSA.

Stay in schoolas required by the law already in force.

They are under no obligation to wear the respiratory protection device: children under the age of six; people with pathologies or disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask, people who are doing sports.
