The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and the clubs have issued a condolence message for the Yeni Malatyaspor goalkeeper Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan, who died in the earthquakes that were centered in Kahramanmaraş and affected 10 provinces.
In the message published on the TFF website, it was stated that Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan’s death was learned with sadness and said, “For two days, our hearts and prayers have been for this distinguished football player to be found alive with all our other citizens who have been under the rubble. However, unfortunately, we were devastated once again with this sad news. “We wish God’s mercy on Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan, and our condolences to his grieving family, relatives and Yeni Malatyaspor community. On this occasion, once again, we wish God’s mercy on all our citizens lost in the earthquake, and a speedy recovery to our wounded. Condolences to our beloved nation.” it was said.
Many clubs, including Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor, also issued condolence messages for the death of Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan.
